The JV girls had their first game of the year Friday night defeating the Akron Fairgrove Vikings. The girls starting out slow leading 11-5 but then went on a 26-1 run to take a 37-6 lead into the fourth quarter and ending the game with a 39-14 win. A suffocating defense led to some easy offensive buckets. Leading the way for the warriors was Fiona Phillips with 17 points and 4 steals, Brynnleigh McGrath with 9 points and 8 rebounds, Grace Szymanski with 6 points, Madi Alexander with 4 points, Lily Campbell with 2 points, Kira Baudoux with 1 point, and Paige Campbell with 7 rebounds.
