North Huron Track & Field competed at the Mayville quad meet on Tuesday. They came away with 8 PRs. Boys: Eli Brown: 3rd in 100 meter dash in 12.3 seconds, 5th in 200 in 25.9 seconds, 2nd in shot put in 32’3” Patrick McGrath: 9th in 100 meter dash in 14.8; 3rd in 800 meters with a PR of 2:39.9, 3rd in long jump in 12’10” tying his PR. Carter Kosinski: 8th in 400 meter dash in 1:06.5, 1st in 3200 in 12:46, second in pole vault in 9’0 Branden Szyller: 5th in 800 meter dash in a PR of 3:09, 6th in 1600 in a PR of 6:24. Ely Deacons: 1st in long jump in 15’5”. Boys 4x400 relay of Deacons, McGrath, Szyller and Brown earned a PR of 4:37, taking 3rd. Girls: Kira Baudoux: 6th in 100 meter dash in 16 seconds, 3rd in 100 meter hurdles in 22.1. Allison Souva: 1st in 100 meter hurdles in 20.1 seconds, 1st in 300 meter hurdles in 59.3. Haylie Galleck: 9th in 100 meter dash in 16.7 seconds, 5th in 800 meters in a PR of 3:24, 5th in long jump in 9’0.5” Lily Campbell: 12th in 100 meter dash in 18.1 seconds, 6th in 200 meter dash in PR of 37.9 seconds, 8th in shot put in 18’8” Caterina Grohmann: 3rd in 800 meters in 3:13, 6th in long jump in 8’6” Paige Campbell: 4th in 800 meters in 3:15, 10th in shot put in 18’0 Aspen Jimkoski: 1st in 1600 meters in a season record of 6:24, 4th in discus in 69’2 The girls 4x100 meter relay of Baudoux, Lily Campbell, Larissa Dorsch, and Galleck earned a PR of 1:05.4. The girls 4x400 meter relay of Baudoux, Paige Campbell, Souva and Grohmann took second in a PR of 5:25. The Warriors next compete at the Akron Fairgrove Invitational on Friday, May 9.
