North Huron School District

Mayville defeated North Huron 13-1 on Thursday thanks in part to seven runs in the fifth inning. Kaleb Brandt-Antoszewski took the loss for North Huron. The lefty went four and two-thirds innings, surrendering eight runs (seven earned) on eight hits, striking out three and walking eight. Schipinski led the Warriors with one run batted in. Landon Mergucz led North Huron with two hits in three at bats from the leadoff position. The Warriors turned one double play in the game. North Huron will travel to Akron-Fairgrove for their next game on Monday.
